This Privacy Policy explains how Hello Cicero collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use Cicero, including the website, Telegram bot, assessments, wellness check-ins, coaching inquiries, and related services.
1. Important health privacy note
Cicero is a consumer wellness assistant, not a healthcare provider, health plan, or emergency service. Unless we enter into a separate written agreement with a covered entity or business associate, Cicero is not intended to collect or process Protected Health Information under HIPAA. Even when HIPAA does not apply, wellness data can still be sensitive, and we treat it with care.
Do not send emergency information, medical records, genetic information, private diagnoses, prescription changes, or other information that you would not want processed through Telegram, AI systems, or our service providers.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Telegram messages, commands, assessment answers, goals, habits, reflections, and check-ins.
- Wellness-related information such as energy, sleep, exercise, nutrition, routines, blockers, and goals.
- Coach inquiry information, such as email address or Telegram contact information.
- Payment-related information, such as payment status, wallet address, transaction hash, plan status, and billing support messages.
- Support requests and any other information you send to us.
Information from Telegram
When you interact with Cicero on Telegram, Telegram may provide user and chat data through its Bot API, such as Telegram user ID, username, display name, chat ID, message text, timestamps, and message metadata. Bots receive messages and updates that Telegram makes available to them.
Information collected automatically
Our website and infrastructure providers may collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, timestamps, logs, and security events.
Information from service providers
We may receive operational information from service providers such as Vercel, Supabase, Telegram, AI providers, TON Wallet, TON blockchain tools, analytics or logging tools, and email providers.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide assessments, check-ins, plans, reflections, and AI responses;
- personalize Cicero around your goals, rhythm, and progress;
- operate the Telegram bot and website;
- store user history, preferences, and conversation context;
- process trials, subscriptions, USDT payments, access status, and billing support;
- respond to coach inquiries and support requests;
- monitor safety, prevent abuse, debug issues, and secure the service;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
4. AI processing
Cicero uses AI model providers to generate responses, summaries, plans, and reflections. Your messages, assessment answers, and relevant context may be sent to those providers so they can process the request and return an output. AI providers may maintain temporary logs or other records according to their own enterprise, API, safety, abuse-monitoring, and legal policies.
We do not intentionally use your identifiable wellness conversations for advertising. If we use de-identified or aggregated information to improve Cicero, we take steps to avoid identifying you.
5. Storage and infrastructure
Cicero may store application data in Supabase, including Telegram identifiers, user profiles, chat history, assessment data, preferences, payment state, and service logs. Supabase provides hosted Postgres database infrastructure and related tooling. The public website is hosted on Vercel. Telegram handles Telegram account, bot, and message delivery infrastructure.
6. Payments and blockchain information
Cicero uses USDT payments through TON Wallet or TON-compatible payment flows. Blockchain transactions may be public and can include wallet addresses, transaction hashes, amounts, timestamps, and network metadata. TON Wallet and other wallet providers process information under their own policies. Cicero will never ask for your wallet seed phrase or private key.
7. How we share information
We may share information with:
- service providers that host, store, process, secure, analyze, or deliver Cicero;
- AI model providers that process prompts and outputs for the service;
- Telegram, TON Wallet, blockchain infrastructure, and payment-support providers as needed;
- coaches or partners only when you ask us to connect you or consent to sharing;
- law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other parties when we believe disclosure is legally required or necessary to protect rights, safety, or security;
- a successor organization if Cicero is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not use wellness data for targeted advertising.
8. Cookies and website analytics
The current landing page is intentionally simple. We may use basic hosting logs, security logs, or analytics to understand website performance and protect the service. If we add cookies or more detailed analytics, we will update this policy as needed.
9. Retention
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Cicero, maintain your rhythm and context, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, process payments, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms. We may retain some records longer when required for security, fraud prevention, accounting, tax, legal, or backup purposes.
10. Deletion and account controls
You may request access, correction, deletion, or export of your Cicero data by contacting team@hellocicero.com. You may also stop interacting with the Telegram bot or block the bot in Telegram. Deleting data from Cicero does not automatically delete information held by Telegram, TON Wallet, blockchain networks, or other third-party services.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure. Telegram bot messages are delivered through Telegram's bot infrastructure and are not the same as Telegram Secret Chats. Do not send information to Cicero that you would not want processed by a bot service.
12. International transfers
Cicero and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Data protection laws may differ from those where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms or service-provider commitments.
13. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, or to complain to a data protection authority.
California privacy rights
California residents may have rights under the CCPA, as amended, including the right to know, delete, correct, opt out of certain sale or sharing, limit certain sensitive personal information uses, and not be discriminated against for exercising rights. We do not sell your personal information for money and do not use wellness data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
EEA, UK, and similar rights
If GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar laws apply, our legal bases may include performance of a contract, consent, legitimate interests, legal obligations, and protection of vital interests. You may contact us to exercise applicable rights.
14. Children
Cicero is not intended for children. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use Cicero. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
15. Breach notice
If we determine that a security incident requires notice under applicable law, including laws that may apply to consumer health or wellness information, we will provide notice as required.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Cicero evolves. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as updating this page, notifying through Telegram, or using another appropriate channel.
